Letter to the editor: Focus on Routt County, not ICE

Some members of City Council and all members of Routt County Commissioners do NOT represent me, and calling for a “federal shutdown” is despicable to the hardworking American people and military troops for their political activism.

For some reason Routt County elected political activists, not policy governance leaders. Following federal law is a staple in America and each of you have chosen not to bring the temperature down but inflame it with your rhetoric and virtue signaling letter to Senator’s that already are bought in to ruining America and Colorado. Let me see, due to democrat’s state legislation Colorado has two budget shortfalls that add up to a $1.6 billion deficit.

I support ICE 100% and the paid and organized agitators will be exposed, just like Worthless Fighting for Routt County that is organized protests supported by Indivisible.org.

Voters in Routt County must wake-up to the fact that you prefer to focus on a letter than govern Routt County which has an incompetent housing authority, traffic issues, funding issues, etc.

I for one will continue to vote for competent leaders and not political activists in Routt County. In the famous words of Mark Twain, “Politicians and diapers must be changed often, for the same reason.” Routt County has been plagued by democrat rule too long, we must start going purple for healthy debate and results, not political activism.
